Research Team Lead

As Research Team Lead in Streetsense’s Research + Analysis studio, Kate specializes in asset repositioning by conducting retail, office, residential, and hospitality market assessments through data collection, trend and comparable analysis, and population projections to demonstrate supply and demand projections at the neighborhood, city, and county levels. She develops financial proformas and other complex financial models for clients to illustrate the financial feasibility for all potential development scenarios. Kate also assists the Research Team in generating data driven retail assessments for city and county governments to inform future policies and incentive program recommendations and strategies.

Prior to joining the Streetsense team, Kate worked as the Transactions and Lease Coordinator at Dochter & Alexander Retail Advisors where she provided client support for tenants such as Dean & Deluca, H&M, REI, Joe & the Juice, and Snap Kitchen as well as landlord clients Brookfield and Douglas Development. Kate holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as well as a Professional Masters Degree in Real Estate Development with a concentration in Finance from Georgetown University.
