J.D. Humphreys

Design Director

In his role as Design Director, J.D. guides and inspires the Brand studio’s designers to bring game changing ideas to the table and make them happen. Although always keeping an eye for the details that make Streetsense’s graphic designs striking and innovative, J.D. favors a big-picture approach when it comes to developing strategy for the longevity of a client’s brand. He has utilized this approach in his previous roles at McKinney and Ogilvy & Mather, where he led creative and content strategy for notable brands like Travelocity and Sherwin-Williams, while also developing social change initiatives for government agencies like the Federal Emergency Management Agency. J.D. earned his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. When he’s not leading his creative team, J.D. can be found visiting local wineries, exploring DC with his husband and 16-year-old dog, or riding roller coasters.
