Senior Project Manager

Hugo has focused his career on aggressively building his skill set and position as a leader in all he endeavors. Hugo has planned, designed, detailed, and completed over 75 restaurant and retail projects to date. Beginning his professional career with The Heiserman Group and then continuing with Streetsense, Hugo’s project work has focused on the restaurant and retail sector. Some notable projects include the design and management of Matchbox – Rockville, Matchbox – Merrifield, Ted’s Bulletin, Sixth Engine, Mad Mex – Wynnewood, the mid-Atlantic/local expansion of Plow and Hearth, La Colombe, and Shophouse, and shepherding the growth of the Fro.Zen.Yo chain from corporate into franchise development.

Hugo earned his Master’s of Architecture from The Catholic University of America School of Architecture and Planning and is currently sitting for the AREs.  Additionally, Hugo was also a Visiting Critic at The Catholic University from 2006-2011, where he assisted in teaching freshmen and sophomore architecture students the basic skills of the design profession.
