New York, NY

Formally known as Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village, StuyTown is an iconic 80-acre residential development on the East Side of Manhattan.

Weary from brand fatigue after four rebrands, StuyTown engaged Streetsense to audit and refresh its identity in effort to increase qualified potential renter leads, retain existing renters, and improve the area’s overall reputation in New York and beyond. Streetsense aggregated in-depth research from over 2,000 survey respondents, stakeholder interviews, online reviews, blog articles, and social media mentions to identify StuyTown’s key audiences and their prevailing sentiments about the property. Driven by insights from this data, Streetsense developed a new StuyTown brand that embraced the property’s wide name recognition and crafted a marketing and content strategy that leverages positive sentiment towards StuyTown and the features that distinguish it in the New York market. This comprehensive strategy included highly targeted online ad campaigns and a search strategy that elevated StuyTown’s digital presence via thoughtful, useful content. The reenvisioned brand has been rolled out universally on the property grounds and via its collateral.
