A cloud-based health and wellness tracking, sharing, and education platform, higi has the world’s largest network of connected retail health kiosks, which measure blood pressure, pulse, weight, and BMI. Integrated with leading health devices, higi leverages its open platform to engage with user communities via activity and outcomes data, empowering lasting changes in health habits.

Project Scope

With a diverse constituency of users and B2B partners — from providers to government agencies to pharmacies and beyond — higi engaged Streetsense to distill and communicate its story and raise its profile. Since launching the original app at SXSW 2013, Streetsense has partnered with higi every step of the way, researching its consumers and competitors, creating and evolving its brand story, conceptualizing health challenges and ad campaigns, publicizing new products, coordinating events, and leading social media strategy.

Streetsense’s efforts have garnered incredible success for the platform. PR efforts at higi’s SXSW debut led to national media coverage from outlets including Fast Company, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, Mashable, the BBC, Billboard, TIME, and Men’s Fitness. The buzz enabled higi to receive a significant second wave of VC funding, allowing the company to expand its retail footprint with an additional 2,000 kiosk locations. Over the course of the partnership, higi has garnered more than 10 million total station check-ins, released an Android app, acquired and integrated the EarndIt rewards platform, and partnered with Rite Aid — expanding its reach to more than 10,000 stations nationwide.
