Streetsense Brings New Sushi Restaurant to Bethesda (MD)

Bethesda, MD, December 7, 2011-  Bethesda, MD residents can't get enough sushi, so Streetsense is bringing a new Japanese sushi restaurant, Passion Fin, to The Shops at Sumner Place, just off Sangamore Road in Bethesda, MD. It is scheduled to open in early 2012.

Rich Amsellem and Guy Silverman of Streetsense represented the center's ownership, W.C. and A.N. Miller Development Company, in leasing a 2,959 SF restaurant space. Shang Wang of JBG Rosenfeld represented the tenant.

Passion Fin is the latest Japanese restaurant concept from local restaurateurs Jeffrey S. Fox and Jin Lin, who also own Sake Steakhouse in Laurel, MD and Fuji Sushi in Bel Air, MD.

The Shops at Sumner Place is a Safeway-anchored retail center adjacent to the 28-acre Sumner Village condominium community. Other stores within the center include CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks, Bethesda Market, Praline French Bakery and Restaurant, Chico’s, a fitness center, and a variety of other stores and services.

"The Shops at Sumner Place is a great neighborhood shopping center," said Jeff Pollak, Managing Principal with Streetsense. "Once Passion Fin opens, we expect local sushi aficionados to seek it out and tell their friends."
