| Bethesda Firm to Concentrate on Architecture for Half Street
Bethesda, MD – StreetSense, one of the most active, mixed-use, architecture, planning and retail brokerage companies in the country, announced today that it has been retained to help Akridge design its new mixed-use project that will be the gateway to Nationals Ballpark.
One of the nation’s premier developers, Akridge, will soon begin work on the 780,000 square-foot, mixed-use complex that will include retail, residences and offices. StreetSense will tap its architectural expertise to team with architectural firms HOK and Esocoff & Associates to help create the novel destination for the area.
“We are excited to be chosen as part of the Akridge team to help shape this unique urban destination,” said Jon Eisen, a managing principal and co-founder of StreetSense. “As an architect, I welcome the opportunity to focus our creative talents and energies on Half Street to make it become among the area’s best working, shopping and dining locations.”
