Streetsense Brings Founding Farmers Restaurant To Park Potomac (MD)

Retail Center is Fully Leased

Bethesda, MD, November 14, 2011-  Six years after working with developer Foulger-Pratt of Rockville, MD to master-plan a new upscale mixed-use community in Potomac, MD, Streetsense of Bethesda, MD has successfully finalized the leasing of Park Potomac’s 110,000 square foot retail center with a 7,000 SF lease to Founding Farmers restaurant, which is now open.

Under the culinary leadership of Executive Chef Joe Goetze, Founding Farmers celebrates American cooking traditions with high-quality, natural ingredients. Like the first Founding Farmers restaurant in Washington, D.C., the Park Potomac space provides a convivial atmosphere with “barnyard chic” décor.

In addition to Founding Farmers, the Park Potomac retail center is home to a state-of-the-art Harris Teeter grocery store, Elevation Burger, Emily Grace Fashion Boutique, Love Couture Bridal, Wine Harvest, Zoe's Kitchen, and other shops and services. Streetsense’s Jeff Pollak and Kelly Silverman were the lead brokers on the project representing the developer, Foulger-Pratt.

“The success of Park Potomac is an excellent example of how Streetsense’s unique integrated platform works for our clients,” said Streetsense CEO Marc Ratner. “We began working with Foulger-Pratt six years ago to master-plan the retail center, including place-making, way-finding, merchandising, and leasing. With each new retail lease, Park Potomac becomes a more exciting place to live, work, and visit.”

Park Potomac was designed as a distinctive mixed-use project at the intersection of Seven Locks and Montrose Roads, near both I-270 and the I-495 Beltway in the affluent Washington, D.C. suburb of Potomac, MD. It combines Class A office space, 150  elegant brownstone homes by EYA, 152 luxury condos developed by Foulger-Pratt (with a total of 450 planned), fine dining, and boutique shopping in a uniquely stylish setting.
